ADAM K HALL
Adam’s creative world began long before he ever picked up a paintbrush professionally. Growing up in North Carolina, he was drawn to stories filled with adventure, fantasy, and mystery - worlds that felt larger than everyday life. That sense of wonder stayed with him and would later shape the heart of his work.
When he moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University, something clicked. The city - with its Spanish moss, historic architecture, and music drifting through the streets - felt like stepping into one of those imagined worlds. After earning his Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, Adam returned to New Orleans and committed fully to painting, using color as his primary language to capture the city’s energy and magic.
Today, his work reflects that same sense of discovery and transport. His paintings have been collected by institutions including Tulane University, where a twelve-foot “Tree of Life” hangs on campus, and he was honored with Best in Show at the Red River Revel.
More than anything, Adam hopes his work gives viewers that same feeling he had as a kid - of being transported somewhere beautiful.
