MPAC 2026
Music. Performance. Art. Community.
Friday, March 6, 2026
Cary Saurage Community Arts Center
MPAC is the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge’s annual fundraising event and biggest celebration of the year. This is not a sit-down gala. It’s a high-energy, immersive night where music, art, food, and community collide in unexpected ways.
What to Expect
A full transformation of the space
You may not even recognize where you are. MPAC takes over the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center with indoor and fully tented outdoor spaces, layered experiences, and surprises around every corner. No weather worries. Just show up and enjoy.
Music you can dance to
Dueling DJs DJ A$H and DJ Jay Da Wizard keep the energy high all night long, joined by live horn players for an added punch. This is a packed dance floor kind of night.
Art happening in real time
Interactive art experiences and live creation throughout the venue invite you to explore, engage, and see creativity in action.
Gallery exhibition
The Shell Gallery will feature work by artist Dennis Parker, whose pieces transform instruments into works of art you have to see to believe.
Culinary arts and mixology
Enjoy culinary experiences from local partners curated by Chef Celeste Gill, along with creative cocktails and cocktails throughout the night.
More than a party
Silent auction and paddle raise
Photobooth moments
Unexpected pop-ups and surprises
A room full of people who show up for creativity and community
Dress Code
Creative Cocktail
There’s no traditional theme this year and that’s intentional. Think cocktail attire with personality. Bold colors, interesting textures, statement pieces, or something playful. If you can dance in it, you’re doing it right.
Why MPAC Matters
Every ticket supports the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and the programs that uplift local artists, educators, and creative opportunities across our region. MPAC fuels the work that keeps creativity thriving in our community.
