ArtSpaces CommUnity Initiative

ArtSpaces aims to empower local organizations and individuals by offering them the opportunity to host their programming, workshops, or events at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center without incurring venue fees. This initiative aims to foster creativity, encourage collaboration, and increase community engagement by making arts spaces more accessible. Whether through artistic workshops, community gatherings, or cultural events, ArtSpaces supports activities that enrich the local community and align with the Arts Council’s mission to promote creativity and well-being for all.

You can request up to 18 hours of venue use at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center, subject to the availability of space and funding. These hours can be scheduled flexibly to fit the needs of their program or event—whether divided into daily workshops, weekly classes, monthly gatherings, or annual sessions. This structure allows applicants the ability to design their programming in a way that best serves their audience and goals. Applicants should outline their preferred schedule in the application to ensure smooth coordination and availability.

Please submit your application no less than six weeks before your event to allow sufficient time for review and scheduling.
