The term of office for members of the Board of Directors is three (3) years, with approximately one-third of the Board rotating off each year. Members are eligible for re-election to another term on the Board, but no member shall serve more than six (6) consecutive years without at least one year off the Board prior to renewed service. The immediate Past Chair of the Board of the Corporation shall serve on the Board of Directors for a least one year following his or her term as Chair of the Board.

Art in Public Places Advisory Committee (APPAC) established by Ordinance 9390 of The Code of Ordinances of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge regulates the placement of monuments, works of art, and commemorative installations on public property under the jurisdiction of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge.   

The ordinance establishes administration of the program by Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, membership of the Art in Public Places Advisory Committee, its duties, and functions in conjunction with the Arts Council Of Greater Baton Rouge and related matters.
