Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is proud to be partnering with BR Choice , assisting in the transformation of the East Fairfields, Melrose East and Smiley Heights neighborhoods into neighborhoods of opportunity and choice for the people living in the community.  A part of this plan is the creation of a series of creative placemaking activities within the newly designated Renoir Cultural District.  Integrating art into community building stimulates local economies and leads to increased innovation, cultural diversity, and civic engagement.
