Get some respite from the scorching heat with some cool jazz! Join us for a special Jazz Listening Room with New York City-based guitarist/composer Charlie Rauh Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Virginia & John Noland Black Box Studio at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center. Rauh is in town as a resident composer for the LSU Vet School this summer and ACGBR is excited to share his talents with the community. Acoustic Guitar Magazine notes, “Charlie Rauh plays guitar with a quiet intensity, each note and chord ringing with purpose...With these lullabies Rauh gives a gentle reminder that playing soft and slow can be more impactful than loud and fast."
Jazz Listening Room is made possible through the generosity of these sponsors: the National Endowment for the Arts & Shell
