A new play written by Alicia Hilaire is being performed at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center in the John & Virginia Noland Black Box Studio. The performance is from 7:00pm-8:30pm and is free and open to the public.
A young Senegalese woman, Diouana, brought to the Côte d'Azur by a French couple, quickly learns that she has been tricked into involuntary servitude. Diouana’s dreams about a fancy life in France result in her taking matters into her own hands.
