An open level movement class investigating contemporary forms. Class will begin on the floor with a guided somatic warm-up of stretching, strengthening, and coordination exercises heavily influenced by Alexandra's background in Pilates and functional movement. Then class will gradually transition to larger movement and locomotion on our feet. Lastly, it will incorporate a longer phrase of movement as an exercise in memory and self-expression. Alexandra's class will be shaped differently each week by the wide-ranging scope of her studies as a contemporary performance artist.
